Baton Rouge, La.-based Woman's Hospital released a children's book in honor of the hospital's 50th anniversary.
The children's book, called The Very Best Birth Day, tells the story of Mama Goose, who travels to various Louisiana landmarks looking for the perfect place to make a nest.
Woman's Hospital will give a copy of the book to every baby born at the facility in November. The Very Best Birth Day is also available for purchase at the hospital's gift shop. Proceeds will go to Woman's Hospital's foundation, which supports community health programs and services.
Woman's Hospital clinicians have delivered more than 350,000 babies since the facility opened in 1968.
