Healthdom, a patient-facing software-as-a-service healthcare platform, will integrate Medfusion's application programming interface to help personalize its services.
Healthdom's digital platform focuses on personalized preventive healthcare. It uses an algorithm that considers a patient's genetic information, age, gender, ethnicity and medical history to notify them when it's time for a health screening or to book an appointment.
By integrating Medfusion's API, Healthdom said it will be able to include more patient information in its analysis. Medfusion Data Retrieval APIs are based on Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources standards and connect to more than 55 major EHRs.
"Medfusion APIs are game-changing for us … Partnering with Medfusion will help us reach our goal of identifying potential health issues early enough to give members the best possible chance at positive outcomes," Robert Keehan, Healthdom business development director, said in a news release.
