5 recent opioid settlements ranging from $83M to $10.7B

Here are five recent opioid cases, all of which settled for or have proposed settlements of at least $83 million:

  1. The state of West Virginia reached an $83 million opioid settlement with Walgreens.

  2. The state of New Mexico reached a net $132 million agreement with CVS, Walmart and Albertsons.

  3. CVS Health and Walgreens have agreed to pay a total of $10.7 billion to settle opioid disputes; the money will go to 18 states.

  4. Teva Pharmaceuticals and AbbVie's Allergan settled opioid cases across 13 states for $6.6 billion.

  5. Walmart reached a possible $3.1 billion opioid settlement with state and local governments.
