Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute is partnering with Egg Harbor Township, N.J.-based AtlantiCare Cancer Institute to expand access to advanced research, clinical trials and cancer treatment for AtlantiCare patients.
The collaboration will improve clinical quality, service delivery, cost management and patient experience and will ensure AtlantiCare patients will have access to experts and the latest in cancer treatment, according to an April 10 Cleveland Clinic news release.
"We look forward to working with AtlantiCare because of our shared values and commitment to delivering clinical excellence," Hetty Carraway, MD, vice chair for strategy and enterprise development and director of the Leukemia Program at Cleveland Clinic Cancer Institute. "We are eager to share best practices to improve outcomes and safety and provide high-quality care for patients in South Jersey."
