These five oncologists joined new practices or received new appointments over the last month.

1. Karim Arnaout, MD, and Neil Nagovski, MD, both oncologists and hematologists, have joined Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Holy Cross Health, according to a June 10 news release obtained by Becker's.
2. The Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at HCA Houston Healthcare has selected Navneet Majhail, MD, to serve as deputy physician-in-chief of blood cancers, the organization said June 22.
3. New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System has tapped Joseph Sparano, MD, as chief of hematology and medical oncology. Dr. Sparano will also serve as deputy director of the Tisch Cancer Institute.
4. Edward Kim, MD, PhD, will serve as the medical director of clinical research at UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center in Sacramento, Calif., effective July 1.
