The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati has announced plans for cancer center and emergency department expansions, according to a Cincinnati Enquirer report.
The $6 million cancer center expansion will add 5,000 square feet of space as well as new therapy spaces and the latest radiation technology. Construction is slated to be complete by spring 2015.
The $800,000 ED expansion will add five emergency treatment rooms, a new discharge area and space for 11 more monitored beds. Construction is expected to be complete by summer 2014, according to the report.
