WellSpan York (Pa.) Hospital has announced plans for a new $50 million emergency department.
The approximately 46,000-square-foot ED will include an area dedicated to the care of patients with minor injuries and illnesses. It will also include treatment areas for pediatric, cardiovascular, orthopedic and behavioral health patients.
Constructed is scheduled to be complete by fall 2017.
