TeleTracking Technologies announced plans to deploy its real-time locating system technology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., and Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
Danville-based Geisinger Health System has also implemented TeleTracking's Bed Management Suite system and plans to deploy the TransportTracking application.
Together, the technologies will track the location and status of mobile medical equipment and improve the bed turnover process, patient transport functions and patient throughput, according to the release.
