Knoxville, Tenn.-based TeamHealth announced it has acquired The Exigence Group, an Amherst, N.Y.-based emergency and hospital medicine practice with operations in four states.
The Exigence Group's current leaders will continue to serve in their current capacities and will additionally assist TeamHealth in developing immediate care center services. Currently, The Exigence Group staffs 12 emergency departments, three hospitalist programs and eight urgent care centers in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.
