Supporters Try to Reinstate Positive Meaning in "ObamaCare" Moniker

Supporters of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act have set out to reclaim the buzzword "ObamaCare" and rid it of negative connotations, according to a report from The Hill.

The website "Thanks ObamaCare" is part of the supporters' campaign and is designed to highlight some of the law's benefits, featuring a list called "10 Reasons to Thank ObamaCare." The supporters feel the term has become a "dirty word," and supporters do have not their own nickname for the legislation. They usually refer to it simply as the Affordable Care Act.

President Obama still has not described the healthcare reform law as ObamaCare at any point on his campaign trail.
