St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, N.Y., has begun construction on a patient tower, according to a Central New York report.
The construction marks the second phase of the hospital's expansion project. The patient tower will include 14 operating rooms and 110 private patient rooms. The first phase of the expansion project features a new emergency department.
Construction for the patient tower is expected to take two years to complete.
