St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center in ND Plans Up to $110M Expansion

St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center in Dickinson, N.D., has purchased approximately 32 acres for $1 million from the Stark County Park Board to build a new hospital and medical complex, according to a Dickinson Press report.

St. Joseph's bought 40 acres from the county two years ago, but its plans have increased in scope and require more space. The organization plans to build a 100,000-square-foot hospital and a 60,000- to 90,000-square-foot medical office. The medical office building will house 40 to 60 providers, a walk-in clinic, Dakota Bone and Joint Clinic and other clinics.

The $85 million to $110 million project would take roughly 12 to 14 months for the medical office building and 18 to 25 months for the hospital. St. Joseph's aims to break ground on the medical office building in June 2014.
