Singing River Health System to Renovate, Expand Mississippi Hospitals

Pascagoula, Miss.-based Singing River Health System is renovating and expanding its Ocean Springs (Miss.) Hospital and its Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, according to a Sun Herald report.

The $17 million expansion project at Ocean Springs Hospital includes the addition of a three-story tower. The tower will feature 20 patient rooms and a congestive heart failure clinic. The tower is scheduled to open in summer 2014.

The plans for Singing River Hospital include updating the front tower of the hospital that will include 15 oncology rooms and 16 medical/surgical rooms after renovations are complete. Construction is expected to be completed by July 2014, according to the report.
