Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, Ill., will be opening its new replacement facility in New Lenox on Feb. 26.
Construction began on the $370 million, 289-bed replacement hospital in 2009. The facility includes a new emergency department, imaging, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, private medical-surgical patient rooms, the Women and Infant Services Birthing Center, an intensive care unit and the new Procedural Care Unit.
