The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee has approved five presidential nominations to the National Labor Relations Board, according to an AHA News Now report.
The nominations include Mark Gaston Pearce, whose current term as board chair expires in August, Harry Johnson III and Philip Miscimarra. They also include Sharon Block and Richard Griffin, whose 2012 appointments were invalidated by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit earlier this year.
These nominations are now awaiting confirmation by the full Senate, according to the report.
