Northwest Hospital & Medical Center in Seattle will become part of three-hospital UW Medicine, whose flagship is Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to a report by MSN Money.
While UW Medicine is not buying 281-bed hospital, it will effectively own its assets as the sole corporate member of UW Medicine/Northwest, a new nonprofit, tax-exempt organization.
