Perry (Ga.) Hospital will soon begin a $2.6 million, nine-bed expansion, according to a Warner Robins Patriot report.
The expansion will add 5,100 square feet and renovate an additional 2,000 square feet.
The hospital originally received a certificate of need for a 17-bed expansion, but a roughly 20 percent drop in patient activity from previous years caused the organization to scale back its plans. The project's design will allow further expansion if demand increases.
