Peach Regional Medical Center to Build $28M Hospital

Peach Regional Medical Center Hospital in Fort Valley, Ga., will break ground on a $28 million replacement medical center in March, according to The Sun News.

Since planning began in 2003, the project faced an economic downturn and controversy over the location choices. A partnership with The Medical Center of Central Georgia and its umbrella organization, Central Georgia Health System, both located in Macon, Ga., has allowed the 63,000 square-feet project to develop.
