Personal information on 416 patients treated at Baton Rouge, La.-based LSU Health was stolen by a former billing department employee, according to a report by The Advertiser.
Patients’ checking account numbers were included in the stolen information.
Pamela Reams, the former employee, was arrested in November on 377 counts of identity theft, according to the report.
