Ohio's MetroHealth Plans Replacement Community Health Center

MetroHealth, based in Cleveland, Ohio, plans to open a community health center in Middleburgh Heights that will replace the older existing facility in Strongsville, according to a WTAM report.

The health system's board voted to buy a plot of land, which will serve as the site of the $23 million community health center. The facility will offer primary care, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology and ophthalmology, according to the report.

Hospital officials expect to break ground on the project in spring 2012, with construction lasting 12-18 months.
