NorthShore University HealthSystem CEO Mark Neaman Receives ACHE's Gold Medal Award

Mark Neaman, FACHE, president and CEO of NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Ill., has received the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) 2009 Gold Medal Award, according to a news release.

"The Gold Medal Award is the highest honor bestowed by the ACHE on outstanding leaders who have made significant contributions to the healthcare profession," according to the ACHE. "The purpose of this award is to identify ACHE Fellows who best exemplify leadership at the organizational, local, state/provincial, and national levels and who continually contribute to the improvement of the delivery of healthcare services and community health."

Mr. Neaman has served as NorthShore's CEO since 1992. He will receive the award on March 23 at the Arthur C. Bachmeyer Memorial Address and Luncheon during ACHE’s 52nd Congress on Healthcare Leadership in Chicago.
