Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, N.Y., has received $36 million from the county to expand its facility, according to a Journal News report.
The money will go toward constructing six new operating rooms and 13 new pre- and post-surgery beds. The money was provided by the county's Local Development Corp., which raises private funds and grant money for small businesses and non-profit organizations.
Northern Westchester Hospital CEO Joel Seligman said the renovations will position the hospital for robotics and minimally invasive surgery.
