Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop, Calif., will soon open its new hospital, according to an Inyo Register report.
The 25-bed critical access, non-profit hospital includes an emergency department, a post-anesthesia care unit, a lab drawing area, three surgical theaters, private medical and surgical inpatient rooms, an intensive care unit, private birthing rooms and a nursery.
While the hospital already celebrated the grand opening of the new facility, it will not be in operation until September at the earliest because the state needs to approve the hospital's license, according to the report.
