CMS has provided a five-year, $3.5 million grant to the Nevada Medicaid program to develop a pilot program to incent Medicaid recipients to participate in chronic disease prevention programs, according to a CNBC report.
The pilot is intended to help Medicaid recipients maintain their health and thereby reduce costs of treating chronic diseases.
