St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich., will officially open its new $155 million patient tower with an open house on April 18, according to a report by AnnArbor.com.
Patients will begin to fill the 500,000-square foot, 11-story tower's 180 beds in May. The tower also will be home the hospital's intensive care units, mother and baby units, stroke care unit, rehabilitation unit and will feature a spa, according to the report.
The hospital's expansion plans also included a new East Tower, which was previously completed.
