Marquette (Mich.) General Health System has joined Premier healthcare alliance to help improve delivery of care, according to a Premier news release.
Premier healthcare alliance currently consists of more than 2,500 hospitals and 76,000 other healthcare sites. This new collaboration will allow Marquette to work with and compare its performance with other alliance members for improved efficiency. At the same time, the hospital will be safely reducing waste and costs.
Marquette has also become a member of Premier's Accelerated Supply Chain Endeavor program to identify improvement opportunities as well as the Partnership for Care Transformation to share best practices for coordinated care development.
