Baltimore's Johns Hopkins Hospital has received the keys to its new Sheikh Zayed Tower and Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children's Center, which is scheduled to open April 2012, according to a JHU Gazette report.
The ceremonial transfer of the keys from construction contractors will include a multimedia showcasing of the facility to Johns Hopkins employees. The 1.6 million-square-foot facility includes 560 private rooms, 33 operating rooms, emergency departments for adults and children as well as the Johns Hopkins Heart and Vascular Institute.
