Jefferson County Hospital in Mississippi Saves Enough to Finish Expansion Plans

Jefferson County Hospital in Fayette, Miss., has saved enough money — $6 million over nine years — to finish the last phase of renovations that started several years ago, according to a Natchez Democrat report.

When the final renovations are complete in Nov. 2012, the hospital will have a new emergency room, X-ray and diagnostics lab, dietary department, 20 beds and a wellness and fitness center, according to the report. The hospital will also employ 15-20 new staff members.
