Vantage Outsourcing has announced it has equipped its entire force of surgical coordinators with iPads to connect with clients and support services.
The iPads are equipped for troubleshooting so that if any ophthalmology equipment malfunctions at a client facility, the technician can use the tablet's camera and video-recording capabilities to interact with remote support personnel. The tablets will also be used for communicating by email, planning meetings and sharing contact information.
