The U.S. government has approved a joint contract with Vantage Outsourcing, establishing the first-ever joint contract in the history of government contracting.
The contract became effective June 1, making Vantage an approved vendor in two contracting categories: Federal Supply Service, Ophthalmic Equipment and Medical Supplies as well as Professional and Allied Healthcare Staffing Services.
According to the news release, the joint contract agreement combines two contracts — 65lla and 62li — to provide medical equipment, supplies and a surgical coordinator for cataract surgeries performed at government healthcare facilities.
