Connecticut's Danbury Hospital Names Dr. Daniel Fish as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery

Daniel Fish, MD, has been named chief of the section of orthopedic surgery at Danbury (Conn.) Hospital, succeeding Ronald Tietjen, MD, according to a Danbury Hospital news release.


Dr. Fish, a partner at Orthopaedic Specialists of Connecticut, has been on staff at Danbury Hospital since 1993. He completed a Harvard Medical School fellowship in sports medicine where he worked as an assistant team physician for the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins, according to the release.

Dr. Fish is a member of the Connecticut Orthopedic Society, the Fairfield County Medical Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. His special interests include arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle and treating sports-related injuries, according to the release.
