Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford will invest $100 million to boost the organization's infrastructure, technology, research and healthcare services, according to a Hartford Business report.
Martin Gavin, CEO of Connecticut Children's Medical Center, said the goal of the investment is to position CCMC as "the children's hospital of southern New England," according to the report.
The news broke soon after the hospital announced plans to align services with Shriners Hospitals for Children in Springfield, Mass.
