William H. Flannagan, CEO of Sentara Healthcare's Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, Va., has announced he will retire on April 23, according to a report by the News & Messenger.
Mr. Flannagan has been CEO of the hospital for less than a year but has been with the hospital for nearly 30 years, joining in 1980 as president of professional services, according to the report.
Mr. Flannagan began as CEO last July, and Potomac Hospital merged with Norfolk, Va.-based Sentera in December.
