Baptist Easley (S.C.) Hospital has broken ground on an $8 million medical facility in Powdersville, S.C., according to a Greenville News report.
Columbia, S.C.-based Palmetto Health, parent company of Baptist Easley Hospital, and the Greenville (S.C.) Hospital System have partnered to build the Medical Center of Powdersville. The 32,500-square-foot facility will offer urgent care services, orthopedic therapy, physical therapy, diagnostic services and education. The Greenville Hospital System will also provide the center with surgical specialists.
Construction is expected to be completed in Jan. 2013.
