Amcom Software will introduce a new console that will allow call-takers at 911 call centers to more quickly connect with first responders this week at the National Emergency Number Association's annual conference in Nashville, Tenn.
The next-generation products include a user-friendly interface that integrates with existing phone services to allow emergency centers to more quickly get in touch with the appropriate emergency services.
"With the technology of the 911 infrastructure evolving for many 911 call centers, it's important that our customers have the latest capabilities to maintain fast dispatch of first responders," said Terry Eby, Amcom's public safety product line manager, in a news release. "Our solution is capable of connecting to the phone system via multiple methods, giving them the flexibility to do what works best in their unique environments."
