Minneapolis-based Allina Health is partnering with Emergency Physicians Professional Association, a 130-provider emergency medicine group based in Minnetonka, Minn., to open a third urgent care center in Vadnais Heights, Minn.
Construction on The Urgency Room is scheduled to begin in August with an opening slated for spring 2012.
The 14,000 square-foot center will be staffed by 65 physicians, nurses and paramedics.
The Urgency Room opened its first location in Woodbury, Minn., in the fall of 2010. A second location in Eagan, Minn., is scheduled to open in October.
