The Certification Board of the American Society for Quality announced that Maria Frantz, director of client engagement at strategic planning software company AchieveIt, was certified as an ASQ Six Sigma green belt.
This certification reflects proficiency in Six Sigma principles and practices, according to the release. Requirements include three years of work experience related to Six Sigma's "Body of Knowledge."
As an SSGB, Ms. Frantz can use the "define, measure, analyze, improve and control" model in Six Sigma projects under the supervision of a Six Sigma black belt, according to the release.
