Many hospitals choose to outsource certain support functions, such as housekeeping, transcription services, food services and supply chain management, in order to achieve cost savings.
While those areas are commonly outsourced, one area that is often overlooked, but could be ripe for outsourcing, is the medical staff services department, according to a whitepaper by The Greeley Company.
