Lifebrite Labs CEO found not guilty in $1.4B billing scheme 

A Florida jury has acquitted Christian Fletcher, the CEO of LifeBrite Laboratories, in an alleged $1.4 billion fraud scheme, court documents show. 

Prosecutors alleged Mr. Fletcher and nine other defendants billed private insurance companies about $1.4 billion for laboratory claims as part of a billing scheme from November 2015 through February 2018. The defendants were allegedly paid $400 million for the claims, according to an indictment unsealed in June 2020. 

On March 21, a jury acquitted Mr. Fletcher of conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud and wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit money laundering, according to court documents obtained by Becker's
