A former emergency department leader at Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora has been sentenced to five years of supervised probation and fined $30,000 for prescription drug fraud, according to a Denver Post report.
Louis Hampers, MD, pleaded guilty to 14 criminal counts related to using false names and falsifying prescriptions to acquire painkillers for personal use. He originally faced more than 600 counts.
