Managers and directors at Casper-based Wyoming Medical Center have taken furloughs to cut the hospital's budget, according to a Casper Star-Tribune report.
Hospital managers are not the only employees affected by cost-cutting measures: no Wyoming Medical Center employees will accumulate paid time off for the rest of the year, according to the report.
These cost-cutting measures will save the hospital $2 million. Wyoming Medical Center has experienced lower patient volumes, which led to the changes, the Casper Star-Tribune reported.
