Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic Health System plans to lay off 82 transcriptionists in its southeastern Minnesota region, according to an Albert Lea Tribune report.
The system is outsourcing that region's transcription services to Amphion Medical Solutions, a Madison, Wis.-based transcription services business, effective March 31, 2014, according to the report.
