High Point (N.C.) Regional Health, part of Chapel Hill-based UNC Health Care, is eliminating 115 jobs, or 5 percent of its workforce, according to a Triad Business Journal report.
Both clinical and nonclinical employees are included in the workforce reduction. Employees affected by the cuts will be offered a chance to apply for jobs in UNC Health Care, according to the report.
High Point Regional has experienced lower inpatient volumes and reduced reimbursements from Medicare and Medicaid, which led to the layoffs.
