Nurses at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, approved a contract July 2 between Mercy Health and the union representing them, according to local TV station WTVG.
The three-year agreement covers members of United Auto Workers Local 2213.
Under the deal, nurses will not be required to work on-site for more than 16 hours, according to WTVG, which cites a union news release. The union said the agreement also includes "language about responding timely to safe care reports of nurses."
About 950 nurses at St. Vincent struck May 6 over staffing issues, on-call policies and healthcare costs. The strike ended June 12, when a tentative agreement was announced.
Nurses rejected the tentative agreement June 18. Negotiators subsequently reached the new deal that nurses ratified, according to WTVG.
