The union representing nurses and other healthcare professionals at Paramus, N.J.-based Bergen New Bridge Medical Center has reached a contract with the hospital's new operators, according to northjersey.com.
The agreement is between the Health Professionals and Allied Employees and Care Plus Bergen, a nonprofit partnership that has operated Bergen New Bridge since Oct. 1, 2017.
It includes salary increases of 10 percent to 11 percent over the three-year contract, as well as increases in tuition reimbursement, other education incentives and less restrictive guidelines for sick leave, Bridget Devane, a union spokesperson, told northjersey.com.
