The following hospitals and health systems are filling at least 100 jobs.
They are listed below from the most to least number of open positions.
1. Scottsdale, Ariz.-based HonorHealth has job postings for more than 800 positions. The health system — formed after the merger of Scottsdale Healthcare and John C. Lincoln Health Network — is hiring nurses, physicians, dieticians and others.
2. Florida Hospital has more than 700 job openings — some of which are for its facility opening in Apopka. The facility, which is expected to open in 2017, will create up to 300 jobs in both clinical and non-clinical areas.
3. Dayton, Ohio-based Premier Health planned to hold a job fair Aug. 29 in an effort to fill 621 professional and entry-level positions for clinical and non-clinical jobs. More than 270 of those jobs are in nursing.
4. Cleveland Clinic announced in August that it was looking to hire 500 registered nurses at three job fairs, one of which has already taken place. The hospital is recruiting RNs at all levels, from recent graduates to those with several years of experience.
5. Phoenix-based Abrazo Community Health Network has more than 300 job openings and those will be filled as needed. The positions range from house supervisors and food service cashiers to registered nurses and occupational therapists.
6. Phoenix-based St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, part of San Francisco-based Dignity Health, is hiring 159 employees. The medical center seeks speech pathologists, certified nurse midwives, social workers and physicians in the Phoenix area.
