"The hospitals' management and respective medical staffs will collaborate to meet the needs of patients in the region," said Ronald S. Owen, CEO of SAMC, in the report. "This clinical affiliation is a catalyst to further each hospital's mission to provide accessible, reliable and quality healthcare for people in our communities."
Two of SAMC's medical groups already have offices on the TRMC campus, and TRMC is a member of the SAMC's Stroke Network.
"Working together means more healthcare options and more convenience to medical specialties at TRMC," said Sherrill Crowe, chairman at Troy Hospital Health Care Authority, in the report.
