West Reading, Pa.-based Tower Health acquired Douglassville, Pa.-based Premier Urgent Care's 19 urgent care centers on Dec. 1.
Eighteen of the urgent care centers are in Pennsylvania and one is in Delaware. They are all part of Tower Health's new business line called "Tower Health Urgent Care."
"The addition of the Urgent Care facilities in the Tower Health communities ensures we can provide the most appropriate care in the right place, at the right time," Clint Matthews, president and CEO of Tower Health, said in a press release. "Providing additional access to skilled and compassionate healthcare providers to our patients helps us continue to deliver on our promise of 'Advancing Health. Transforming Lives.'"
