Capella Healthcare in Franklin, Tenn., and Saint Thomas Health in Nashville, Tenn., have finalized their partnership for joint ownership and operation of four Capella Healthcare hospitals and potentially additional healthcare facilities in middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky.
The Capella Healthcare hospitals involved in the joint venture include River Park Hospital in McMinnville; White County Community Hospital in Sparta; DeKalb Community Hospital in Smithville; and Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, all located in Tennessee.
The hospitals will operate as part of Saint Thomas Health, which will hold equity interest. Capella is the managing member and the majority partner in the new venture. Under the agreement, Capella will be the exclusive development partner for Saint Thomas Health in the Tennessee and Kentucky region.
