Rappahannock General Hospital in Kilmarnock, Va., and Bon Secours Virginia Health System in Richmond and Hampton Roads, Va., have signed a letter of intent to discuss a possible affiliation, according to a Bon Secours release.
An affiliation would allow Rappahannock General Hospital to expand services while maintaining ownership of the hospital.
Rappahannock General Hospital is a 76-bed non-profit hospital. BSV includes seven hospitals and is part of Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours Health System.
